I acquired a valuable understanding of the logistics and supply chain industries and developed essential skills in communication, critical thinking, and customer service. I have worked hard to prepare for this role and am excited to build a long and successful career in the field. As a graduate from Rosebank College and a second-year part time student at the University of Johannesburg, I have a strong foundation in logistics and supply chain management principles.
During my studies at Rosebank College, I gained a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental concepts of logistics, including inventory management, transportation, warehousing, and distribution. I also developed analytical and problem-solving skills, which are essential in this field. Currently, I am pursuing a Diploma in Road Transportation Management (freight) at the University of Johannesburg.
This program is further enhancing my knowledge and skills in managing the transportation of goods and materials. I am gaining practical insights into fleet management, route optimization, and freight forwarding.
Although I do not have direct work experience in the logistics and supply chain management industry, my education has equipped me with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in this field. I am a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a strong work ethic.
