My name is Rodney Sibiya
I was born and breadth in Nelspruit Mpumalanga. I have 3 siblings’ girls and I am the only boy I am single, and I have one child. I was raised by a single mom after my father passed away. My hobbies are watching soccer, reading, and writing.
I hold a National Diploma in Safety Management, year 2020 did my B-tech Degree in Safety Management with UNISA, qualification pending payment. I have done some short courses such as SAMTRAC, Combined ISO 14001 & 45001 Implementation course, Hazardous Incident Risk Assessment, Incident Investigation, Fall Arrest Technician, SHE Representative, and other online courses for Continuous Professional Development Courses. I am registered with Salosh - South African Institute of Occupational Safety and Health as a Graduate Member, and I am in the final stage of being registered with the SACPCMP (The South African Council for Project and Construction Management Professions) as a Professional CHSO.
Since leaving university, I have enjoyed working as a CNC Machine operator from May 2017 to April 2019 and have enjoyed a two-year Environmental Health & Safety Management career with Rheinmetall Denel Munition in Boksburg. I am currently working as a SHE Officer at The Umhlathuze Valey Sugar Company.
